Getting Started Teaching Online

Thu, 3/24/2016 | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM | Online Meeting

LEARNING GOALS

1. Identify strategies to start teaching online.
2. Identify resources to enhance your online instruction.
3. Learn how to create a plan for engaging with your online students.

Building your course is the first step to enter the online teaching environment, however how do you create the instructor presence?  How do you to create student engagement by engaging in the course yourself? During this webinar, we will be joined by Dr. David Stein, Ph.D. from the College of Education and Human Ecology.  We will address some best practices for teaching in the online environment, build upon our shared experiences of teaching online, and develop a plan for engaging with your online students.

NOTE: This webinar will be run through CarmenConnect.  The URL for the meeting room along with audio conference line numbers will be emailed to each person who registers for the webinar the morning of the webinar.
