iTunes U: An Introduction

iTunes U is a dynamic content delivery system for educators. This workshop is designed to introduce Ohio State instructors and staff to iTunes U and the iTunes U Course Manager. Learn how to design a public or private iTunes U course as a way to provide access to instructional videos, audio recordings, eBooks/iBooks, PDFs, PowerPoints, and more.

Cory Tressler, Educational Technologist with Ohio State's Learning Technology team. Cory manages iTunes U for Ohio State and works directly with instructors, staff, and students on utilizing mobile technology for teaching and learning. Cory was formerly the Director of Virtual Learning for the Beaufort County School District in South Carolina. While working for Beaufort Schools he created a virtual learning program for high school students, initiated a Virtual Summer School enrichment program, developed an extensive professional development plan for over 2500 educators, designed a mobile learning initiative that implemented 7800 iPads into classrooms, and presented at multiple national conferences.
