Teaching & Learning with iPads

Thu, 2/28/2013 | 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM | Hagerty Hall  0186

This session focuses on the latest research about how iPads can be used in the classroom. We will cover use cases from institutions across the counrty, academic content and iTunes U, digital textbook resources from iBooks and Inkling, projecting with VGA adapters and document cameras, polling students and colleagues with the free app Socrative and presenting from the iPad with keynote or Prezi.

There are no prerequisities for this session; it is a demo-based presentation and is not hands-on. However, participants who have iPads are welcome to bring them to follow along.

Cory Tressler from Digital First will lead this session. tressler.8@osu.edu - twitter.com/tresslertech
