Keep Teaching: Alternatives to Exams and Finals

Thu, 4/2/2020 | 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM | CarmenZoom

After this session, participants will be able to:

  • List considerations for student access to technology for taking exams
  • Make decisions about how to modify exams and finals that best align with their context
  • Plan for limitations inherent in the technology solutions for various assessment types

In this session, we will share resources and suggestions for how to modify exams and finals for virtual learning, with an emphasis on using the tools in CarmenCanvas. Learn how to best meet the needs of your students by considering alternatives to traditional exam and final formats. Multiple examples will be shared throughout the workshop. You will have the opportunity to share your ideas and experience how Zoom can help you engage with your students.
