Keep Teaching Online Help SessionThu, 3/26/2020 | 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM | Online Meeting
Before attending this session, please review Keep Teaching website and follow the steps described there to ensure your course is activated and available to students. This session will help you enact what is described there if you encounter difficulties when trying it on your own.
In this online help session, instructional designers from ODEE will show you how to make sure your students have the resources to complete their work while face-to-face classes are suspended. Learn how to share your syllabus to CarmenCanvas, post necessary resources for students to complete activities from home, set up your Carmen gradebook, and use CarmenZoom to communicate with your students in real time if necessary. The session will be held in Zoom so that you can see what it's like.
During the session, plan to have your Carmen course open in another browser window and have any additional course materials accessible.
NOTE: If you have never used CarmenZoom, you will need to log in and activate your account before you are able to access the Online Help Session. For help getting started, visit Getting Started in CarmenZoom in the ODEE Resource Center. Be sure to test Zoom at least one hour in advance of the session and contact the Service Desk at 614-688-4357 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any issues.
Can't make it to a workshop? Check out the Keep Teaching playlist on OhioStateIT's YouTube channel for session recordings and other tutorial videos.
