Video Creation StudioWed, 10/24/2018 | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM | Pomerene Hall 280
After this session, participants will be able to:
- Create technically high-quality videos (image and sound quality, framing, lighting, etc.) for their courses.
- Create pedagogically effective videos (well-structured, contextually appropriate) for their courses.
- Manage, store, host and deliver videos for their courses.
- Ensure that videos are accessible and useful for all students in a course, including those with disabilities, limited bandwidth, or who are otherwise in situations that limit the effectiveness of video.
Join video experts from the Office of Distance Education and eLearning and colleagues from around the university to discuss best practices for efficiently producing high-quality, accessible video for online, hybrid or face-to-face courses.
Creation Studios have no structured agenda; rather, you are encouraged to bring a list of video production challenges you have encountered or opportunities you would like to explore. There will be ample time for collaborative discussion and individualized support to answer questions and devise solutions, with a focus on how OSU-supported tools can help. You are encourged to bring samples of work related to the problem you would like to focus on.
Space is limited, so don't wait to register. We look forward to seeing you and hearing about your video development project!
Presented by the Distance Education Learning and Teaching Academy (DELTA).
