The State of Distance Education at Ohio StateMon, 11/6/2017 | 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM | Campbell Hall 100
The Ohio State University has rocketed to the front of the pack and become a leader in distance education since the Office of Distance Education and eLearning (ODEE) was created in December of 2012. Please join us as we kick off National Distance Learning Week (NDLW) with a presentation on the state of distance education at Ohio State.
Rob Griffiths, Associate Vice President of Distance Education, and Jen Simmons, Director of Distance Education, will share how Ohio State has quadrupled its online program offerings and developed a robust distance education infrastructure in just five short years. As part of the presentation, you will hear from a few of our partners who’ve helped with building the infrastructure and ensuring online students have access to the resources that they need.
